IRL/Champcar merger?
Ok, this story is only tangentially linked to F1, but according to SpeedTV.com, Tony George - president of IRL - and Kevin Kalkhoven - one of the owners of Champcar - have been in talks regarding merging IRL and Champcar back into one entity.
I for one would welcome this move, as the CART/IRL split hurt open wheel racing in the US immensely (as about a billion other commentators have said elsewhere). It seems like sanity is finally prevailing, and it gives me hope that if the egos in F1 can't keep it all together, then at some point down the road there may yet be hope to take humpty dumpty and put him back together again.

If the fonts on this page look blocky and naff, it's probably because you are using Internet Explorer, which currently does not display antialiased (cleartype) fonts consistently when alpha transparency is used. I suggest you upgrade to Safari, Camino, Opera, or Firefox. While you're at it, get a Mac.
